About PWYC submission fees

Did you know that OIF doesn’t make money? In fact, we spend thousands of dollars to make this festival happen.

Submission fees can help us offset the festival's costs. Your fee also goes towards our commitment to pay performers and provide honoraria for our volunteer committee members!

You can input any amount as a pay-what-you-can submission fee.

The PWYC submission fee doesn't affect the evaluation of your submission. Your fee information will not be given to the selection committee.

If you’d like to support the festival, here are some suggested amounts:

  • $50+ (you have a larger team to split the fee or you’re able to give more to support the festival)
  • $30 (your team is able to help offset some costs)
  • $0 (cost is a barrier, no questions asked)

When will teams be selected?

We hope to have the finalized selection and schedule by the first week of April! We will let each team who applies know if they have or have not been selected.

If you wish to learn more about the selection process, you can go to the OIF website HERE.

Please note that due to limited time and resources, we are not able to provide feedback on your submission. The co-directors and OIF committee members will not accept or respond to any messages deemed harassing from any applicants.

Good luck and we look forward to seeing your entries!
